Arianta International (Aug 2012 – 2014): Paddy delivered a leadership development programme for the CEO, Directors and top 30 regional managers of Aer Rianta International Duty Free. The programme consisted of interactive workshops supported by face to face, skype and on line coaching. The work was delivered on location in Dublin, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Cyprus and Canada. An interesting feature of this project has been the fact that the core leadership competencies, when viewed as aligned to the job holders’ needs, have universal application regardless of cultural differences.

In 2009/2010 Paddy designed and delivered a modular integrated leadership development programme for the directors, managers and staff (70 members) of the Safety Regulatory Division (SRD) of the I.A.A. This programme was facilitated in groups of twelve at a time and each programme spanned 8 days training, broken up into several modules. This was supported by coaching using the Birkman method.
Following a successful implementation of this work he was selected at the start of 2011 to facilitate the Manager Safety Culture Skills development programme for the air traffic control and engineering sections of the IAA. The focus was not on the technical areas of safety but on leadership, attitude and change management. The programme ran for 2.5 years commencing with several coaching sessions for members of the Executive Management Team. This was followed up by one to one coaching and clustered training sessions for 50 senior and middle managers.
Following the completion of this programme Paddy has been contracted on a continual basis as an executive coach within the ATC, Licencing and Engineering sections.

Peter and Catherine have designed and delivered a Management Development Programme for the CEO, leadership team and all managers across the organisation.
The services provided included the following:
- Clarifying the organisational context and priority objectives with the CEO and leadership team
- A diagnostic phase to identify the key themes and challenges to be addressed through the programme. This was done through a series of focus group café-style sessions with groups of managers and reporting back the key themes to the CEO and her leadership team.
- Designing and delivering a management development programme. The programme was attended by the CEO, her leadership team and middle and first line managers right across the organisation. The programme covered influencing skills, handling difficult performance review conversations and building high performing teams.
This programme began in 2012 and at present another group of circa 50 managers is going through the programme. With this group, approximately 130 managers will have gone through the programme.
